What are Class 3 and Class 4 impact shingles, and why are they important in Georgia?

They’re shingles designed to withstand hail, debris, and wind-driven impacts better than standard roofing. While Georgia isn’t a top hail state, we still get surprise hailstorms and falling branches from summer winds.
Class 4 is the highest level, and it's becoming more popular in metro Atlanta.
